We, the Ayios Amvrosites inhabitants of the Kyrenia district, Lobby for Cyprus and the supporters of our protest, call upon the Government of the Republic of Cyprus not to be drawn into any comprehensive settlement that:
denies the refugees the unequivocal right to reclaim, return to or rebuild their stolen properties and lands
allows the property rights of refugees to be dependant on 'regulation' of the number of such refugees seeking residence in the north
seeks to bribe refugees with 'compensation' packages and 'property exchanges' which are designed to minimise the number of refugees returning to their homes
We, the Ayios Amvrosites and the associations, groups and the individuals in support of our protest call upon:
all refugees, in the first instance, to reclaim what is theirs in the occupied area before making any decisions concerning returning on a permanent or temporary basis or rebuilding their properties
the refugees and owners of property in the occupied area that are currently living in the diaspora, particularly in the UK, north America, Greece and Australia to reclaim what is theirs and to be a positive force for the return of their lands and properties
the Church to make clear its resolve to reclaim all its substantial holdings in the occupied area and to reject outright any proposals to exchange property with.
We will return!
