False accusations and innuendo were made in your story last week about the history of Cyprus.

It states that the Greek Cypriots' bitter hatred of the British spills over in violent outbursts. Where are these violent outbursts? Some 300,000 Greek Cypriots have lived and been fully integrated in Britain without any evidence of these accusations.

Millions of Britons have visited Cyprus without experiencing this hatred. As a Greek Cypriot living in England since the age of six, I hope that the comments do not harm relationships between the communities.
