Turkey continually ignores any 'inconvenient' legal obligations. Turkey has been threatened with expulsion from the Council of Europe for failing to implement the hundreds of decisions from the European Court of Human Rights against her. Turkey has ignored hundreds of UN resolutions on Cyprus following her ethnic cleansing of Greek Cyprios in 1974. And now she ignores EU legal requirements on free trade! Turkey should respect the rule of law. Until she does her application should be dismissed.
