RE: Desecration of Armenian Genocide monument

Dear [Name of Member of Parliament]

I am sure that you will have been appalled at the news of the desecration of the Armenian Genocide monument at the Temple of Peace, Cardiff on Sunday 27 January 2008, Holocaust Memorial day. I appeal to you to raise the issue with the Prime Minister in the Commons.

These are the questions which we would like to be asked:

• Will the Prime Minister condemn without reservation the desecration of the Armenian Genocide monument in Cardiff which occurred on Holocaust Memorial Day?
• Does the Prime Minister feel that his government’s continued denial of the Armenian Genocide (in the face of overwhelming evidence of its reality) has given encouragement to those that desecrated the Armenian Genocide monument in Cardiff on Holocaust Memorial Day?
• In the light of the desecration of the Armenian Genocide monument in Cardiff on Holocaust Memorial Day, will the Prime Minister rethink his position as the only trained neutral historian in the UK who continues to deny the reality of the Armenian Genocide?

Thank you in advance.
